mentorship-driven investment Program. Each year we select the "Top 10"
Companies and mentor them through an intense 13-week Summer Program
ending with an Investor / Demo Day to facilitate their next round of
funding. We now hold 10 micro-investments in BoomStartup Companies. |

An off sector investment for us, we
invested in an automated microscope Company not only for their next
generation microscope, but more for their Software
which provides real-time image analysis...after all,
we love
software.

model. They provide a web-to-print solution that
allows you
to
memorialize your Blog into various soft and hard bound books.

We
took an early-stage investment in RedSpan because we saw a need to
improve the efficiency in
the technology commercial ecosystem by leveraging social
networking.
RedSpan delivers a web-based end-to-end solution to automate
technology
commercialization offices (TCO) with in Universities and Global 1000
Corporations.

Mangia Technologies
We took an early-stage investment in Mangia to extend their solution to
the mobile computing platform. Mangia is a fast and easy way for sports
fans to order food and merchandise from their seats using
their
mobile phone.

Security
We took a later than normal
stage
investment in Panoptic Security to
help accelerate their market share and develop a scalable platform for
future growth. Panoptic Security provides an easy and
economical
way for Level 3 & 4 merchants to become PCI compliant.

GuestSpan
We took an early-stage
investment in
GuestSpan because we believed in
the
vision and potential market of their solution. The Company is
developing an in-room concierge device allowing hotels to accelerate
guest loyalty and further monetize the guest experience. We provided
funding for the initial product development at a time when other
investors said "come back when you have a product".
